What To Expect

The interventions offered at The Albany Clinic have been shown to be very efficacious for many who suffer from Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD) and PTSD. While some insurances do cover the costs of these treatments, many do not; therefore, we require payment at the time of service.

Currently, a ketamine infusion for TRD costs $500, which includes the costs of monitoring, the cost of the ketamine, and one other added medication if needed. Some patients may require multiple medications administered concurrently, which may increase the cost. Unlike some other ketamine clinics, we do not require that patients pay for a series of infusions upfront before receiving the initial infusion.

Patients receiving an IV ketamine infusion for chronic pain will pay $1,800, which includes the costs of the infusion, the cost of two to four medications, and the cost of monitoring by a medical professional for an average of four hours. The number of ketamine treatments required depends on the patient response.

Stellate Ganglion Blocks require the use of conscious sedation along with guided imaging and monitoring. The cost for an SGB at our clinic is currently $1,375 and includes the cost of the medications used during the procedure.

We will supply all patients with the information needed for the submission of a claim to their insurance carrier. Some insurances may ask you to fill out a form with the information we supply, while others will simply ask for the actual form or superbill given to you by the office. Patients are encouraged to call the 800-customer service number on their insurance card for instructions on how to submit a claim.

We will accept cash, major credit cards, or personal checks as payment. If using a personal check, we ask that the check be presented to the clinic 3-4 business days before the procedure. We also offer access to SmartHealth PayCard Mastercard, which extends a credit line of up to $30,000 for the use of not only the interventions offered at The Albany Clinic but can also be used for other healthcare expenses and daily medical needs.
